Educational Background:

Zhang earned his M.A. in Translation and Interpreting at Newcastle University in November 2015, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in rhetorical studies at Shandong University.

He had also served as the interpreter for the Ambassador of Pakistan to China after his graduation from Newcastle University.

Publications:

Zhang has published three research articles on journals listed on Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) and Chinese Social Science Citation Index (CSSCI), most notably an original research article on the Quarterly Journal of Speech.

He has also participated in the compilation of a textbook of rhetoric.

Research project:

Zhang is currently participating in a general research project supported by National Social Science Research Fund.
